About Us: We are two mothers who are continually inspired by our love for our children and our desire to see them blossom into who they were born to be.  The toys we make are designed with a child’s development in mind. Our creations encourage creativity and imagination, allowing the child to lead the way – not the toy. They nurture a child’s natural learning process and provide an alternative tactile experience to the sea of plastic out there. Enjoying these toys will help to build an appreciation and excitement for nature. Even adults can benefit from having a little something around that reminds you of what you love and brings a smile to your face!

We strive to use natural and local materials whenever possible.

Pork: Sausage 1 lb. pack (3 seasoning choices), Little Breakfast Link Sausage, Stuffed/Rope Sausage, Pork Chops, Sliced Tenderloin, Tenderloin Roast.

About Us: Gore’s Meat Processing is a family-owned business and has been for 49 years. We offer farm raised beef and pork with no hormones or antibiotics. Our meat is fresh and conveniently packaged for easy cooking. The beef we offer has premium marbling for optimal flavor and is perfect for grilling out. Our pork sausage is a best seller, and is a Shenandoah Valley favorite. We also offer sides or quarters of beef processed to your specifications. For pork, we will butcher a whole hog cut how you like, or a BBQ pig for your summer cookout.

Our meat is naturally grown and professionally processed. We dry-age our beef for 10-14 days then cut it to make cooking as easy as possible. Next we vacuum seal the meat in packages that will keep the meat fresh for about 1 year. The meat is then frozen and ready for you to take home.

Meat is our business and we know what it takes to get the best flavor. That’s just one reason Gore’s is humane certified by state and federal inspection and a private company. Humane slaughter is a practice best for the animals, safest for the workers, and tastiest for the meat. Please come by our store in Stephens City on Double Church Road or in Edinburg on South Middle Road. We would love to talk to you more about the meat options for your family. We hope you find buying local is the most affordable, healthy, and delicious choice you’ve ever made about eating!

On Simple Grounds Farm
Contact: Larry Scislowicz, Market Manager for the Front Royal Farmer's Market
Email: lars44@embarqmail.com
Phone: 540-635-8413

Products: Naturally Grown Veggies (Heirloom Tomatoes, Eggplants, Sweet Peppers, Swiss Chard, Lettuce, Onions, Garlic, Beans, Cucumbers, Zucchini, and Yellow Squash)

About Us: On Simple Grounds Farm grows healthy vegetables using simple farming practices on 2 1/2 acres right here in Warren County. We use no herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. Our farm embraces the principles of sustainability through the use of water saving drip irrigation, composting, solar electricity, non-mechanized soil preparation, and peat free soil starting mix. We farm from the ground up! We double dig all of our new beds and prepare existing beds for planting using a broad fork. To boost the level of nutrients available to our plants, we incorporate homemade compost and grass clippings before each new planting. The grass clippings are harvested using an old fashioned manual reel mower in order to the limit the use of fossil fuels. All of our seedlings are started and grown on the farm. While all of the "horse power" the farm needs is provided by Larry, the electrical needs of our farm are provided by a grid-tied 1.4 Kw solar array. We believe that the end product of our efforts is tasty, healthy vegetables prepared without damaging our environment. We love the new Front Royal Farmer's Market and the opportunity it has given us to connect to the community. We look forward to providing fresh local veggies to the residents and visitors of Warren County for many years to come!
